miHoYo has reportedly cancelled the awaited "Genshin Impact" 1.5 beta testing. The game has been reportedly popular ever since its launch last year. The game is known to receive some major updates that add new items, quests, characters, and a whole lot more. miHoYo usually releases some major update for the game in the span of every six weeks.
'Genshin Impact' 1.4 update
The most recent "Genshin Impact" 1.4 update brought in the new character Rosaria which had a Venti banner rerun and even added in a number of different weapons and items. The popular Hangouts event was known as the highlight of the whole update and although it was also received pretty well by the said community.
According to an article by DualShockers, for those that have been following the whole "Genshin Impact" news during the past few days, the news of miHoYo starting the "Genshin Impact" 1.5 beta testing might have been familiar. Signups have reportedly started some time last week and the whole beta testing was then started from this week onwards.

The "Genshin Impact" 1.5 update beta testing, however, did not really go according to miHoYo's initial plan and there were a number of things that have been leaked during the beta stages. While miHoYo still made beta testers sign a particular NDA that would refrain them from sharing certain content pertaining to the beta test, the leaks would still continue to drop on a daily basis.
Due to the leaks, it now looks like miHoYo has decided to completely close the beta testing in general. According to the "Genshin Impact" leaker known as Seewlie, it seems like the "Genshin Impact" beta testing for the 1.5 update has now been completely shut down after a number of leaks have dropped throughout the past few days.

'Genshin Impact' beta testing
miHoYo had even issued an earlier statement noting that it will be taking action regarding the said leaks and it now seems to be the first time that they are doing so. There are a number of different prominent "Genshin Impact" leakers that have reportedly deactivated their Twitter accounts for certain unknown reasons.
As of the moment, it will be quite interesting to see how miHoYo would step in and take control of the situation. Since miHoYo has decided to scrap the new "Genshin Impact" 1.5 beta, it might also delay its supposed update as well. The news comes as something a bit sad for those that were really trying to participate in the "Genshin Impact" beta testing.
miHoYo is now trying to do something about the many leaks that the game has been experiencing all throughout as "Genshin Impact" is struggling to surprise its gamers with every update. With every update, miHoYo is trying to bring something new and exciting to gamers and they might not be able to surprise gamers if certain details are leaked.
