Elon Musk and SpaceX are gearing up for their SN11 test flight which has been postponed until next week, Monday, March 29, that was supposedly taking place this week but was pushed for unknown reasons. The CEO announced this by answering his fans via Twitter and has added extra trivia as to how the Super Heavy Booster rocket would land soon.

The SN11 Starship could have launched earlier this week, but instead was canceled due to unknown reasons that SpaceX never filled in for its fans and enthusiasts that were awaiting the spacecraft's ascent. This was supposed to be happening last Wednesday, March 24, with the Cameron County and Boca Chica all set and ready for the preparations, including road closures.

It was speculated that SpaceX may have added or tweaked some more changes with the current Starship to ensure that it would be successful this time, and avoid getting blown like the last ones. The SN11 follows a trail of consecutive Starships that have exploded during their descent or upon landing, but a promising lead was SN10's landing achievement.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO is known for updating his fans and enthusiasts via Twitter (@elonmusk) with a personal touch of addressing as he manages his account himself. Moreover, the CEO said in his statement that the test flight would take place and happen "probably on Monday," which suggests that it may take place later in the week.

Musk then explained that SpaceX is doing their best to ensure that the test flight and landing is a success and that the Starship needs "additional checkup" all around its processes, hardware, and other things.

The space manufacturing company and Musk are all hoping this Starship to be the one that sticks its landing, to have a working prototype by July. Test flights of the company usually happen on weekdays, which is why the scheduling of SpaceX would take place on Monday instead of Saturday or Sunday.

The Mars-bound spacecraft is yet to begin its ascent to the neighboring planet which the company aims to construct a Mars Base Alpha and the city called Nuwa, the first of its kind.

Super Heavy Booster Rocket to Have a Different Landing Maneuver

In a different series of tweets, Elon Musk replied to a fan that showed a render of the Super Heavy Booster rocket's landing maneuver which resembles that of the SN11 Starship.

However, the CEO clarified that it would be different and would not be the same as the Starship that has its landing maneuver complete with its procedure and technique.

Musk explained that it would be like the Falcon 9's landing, where a tower would assist with its arms and catch the booster rocket.
