'Genshin Impact'1.5 Leak Shows Possible PvP Hide and Seek Event: Beta Content Reveals

"Genshin Impact" is now rumored to introduce two different events named both Mimi Tomo and Windtrace in the game's upcoming versions. A brand new set of leaks have recently revealed two different events that could become part of the upcoming "Genshin Impact" 1.5 update, which is expected to arrive by the end of April.

'Genshin Impact' PvP hide and seek

MiHoYo usually comes up with brand new ideas that would allow players to spend even more time doing some fun activities either in solo or in co-op mode. This particular time, the publisher is actually seemingly working on a brand new idea that would reportedly involve interaction along with the Hilichurls in the game's solo quest. Quite similarly, in the upcoming co-op event, players will be having a PvP mode for the very first time. The new mode would look like a hide-and-seek game.

The leak reportedly comes from ProjectCelestia which is a twitter account that is famous for different updates that are related to "Genshin Impact". The leak points towards the game planning to introduce a brand new PvP mode which could be named Windtrace Event in the upcoming "Genshin Impact" 1.5 update.

Hunters vs Rebels

Within the mode, players will then be divided into two different teams namely the Hunter and the Rebels! The leaks say that the rebels are actually "members of an ancient resistance" while the hunters are "sent by ancient aristocracy." The upcoming PvP event will reportedly take place in the given "Contested Zones" but this is still unclear.

An article by Sportskeeda notes that the hunter's main goal will be to capture all of the rebels while the rebels have to constantly hide for a period of time. In order to complete the challenge, players will be given some "Windtrace coins" which now seems like some sort of limited-time currency for the game's event shop.

'Genshin Impact' 1.5 update

Some time earlier, a leak by the "Genshin Impact" Info and Updates on Facebook noted that there might be an addition of a brand new "Hide and Seek" name card for the "Genshin Impact" 1.5 update. When thinking of the ""Windtrace Event" and the name card, players might be getting a new name card coming from the event shop that can be used in exchanging Windtrace coins.

Another upcoming quest that could be called the "Mimi Tomo" also seems quite interesting. The quest will have players escort the "Unusual Hilichurl" safely all the way to its destination through dangerous routes. During the game's event, Katheryne coming from the Adventurer's Guide will then assign Ella Musk, the known Hilichurlian language expert as a certain traveler companion.

Ella will now help its players translate the magical Hilichurlian language and also to investigate the Merchant Hilichurl or the Unusual Hilichurl's location. Upon finding both the destination and the timing of the given merchant's Hilichurl's journey, players will then be directed to safeguard him from any potential threats.
