Best Buy Beta is trying out an exclusive annual membership for its patrons and customers to bring extended tech warranty for all purchases within its retail stores and other services like installation and shipping. This service is not required for people to buy and enter their facility like membership-only stores, rather an optional and add-on from the company.

CHICAGO, IL - NOVEMBER 28: Shoppers wait in line to enter a Best Buy Inc. store on November 28, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Known as 'Black Friday', the day after Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season, with many retailers opening their doors on Thursday evening.

The service includes people and buyers to get the most out of their tech purchase from the company that would offer free hardware installations at home, free shipping to the member's address, special offers, promotions, and more. The most significant offer of this membership is the extended tech warranty that stretches out to 24 months, added to the device's original warranty date.

The Best Buy Beta membership is priced at $199 for an annual subscription of the service, where the member could use the perks and privileges from Best Buy all year round. The service "Geek Squad" of the company is also offering free check-up, expert service, and support for any tech, regardless of where it was originally purchased.

According to a trusted speculator Wario64 via Twitter (@Wario64), Best Buy Beta is now testing its service to Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Oklahoma states where it has already pushed through with its extended tech service. The service is also extending its return policy for most tech and devices purchased for up to 60 days or 2 months after its purchase.

This extended tech warranty is to be fulfilled by Best Buy if the original manufacturer's warranty is to expire at a certain date or period (mostly 1 year or 12 months from the purchase date). The offer by Best Buy is similar to the extended warranty and service by Apple, with the company's Apple Care service that extends up to three years.
