TCL 20 Series Official Launch Introduces Three New Flagship-Like Models

TCL officially launched three new models in the TCL 20 series, including the 20L, 20L+, and 20 Pro 5G.

The new devices promise flagship-like performance at a low price, using the TCL's NXTVISION visual technology to deliver an excellent display experience.

TCL 20L, 20L+ Boasts First Circular Polarization Display Certified Smartphone

TCL launches the budget-friendly 20L and 20L+ that offers solid features including the Circular Polarization Display, allowing users to view the display in natural colors on a hot summer day.

Powered with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor, the TCL 20L comes with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB storage while the 20L+ only comes with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage.

According to a report from Digital Trends, both phones come with a quad-camera, including an 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP depth camera, and 2MP macro camera.

The 20L model will come with a 48MP main camera while the 20L+ will come with a 64MP version, and both will come with a 16MP selfie camera.

In addition, both phones offer a 6.67-inch 1080p LCD and a 5,000mAh battery.

TCL 20 Pro 5G: The Budget-Friendly Flagship Phone

The TCL 20 Pro 5G comes on top of the company's mobile phone lineup as it was built to offer a flagship experience for less.

Its 6.67-inch AMOLED display boasts TCL's NXTVISION 2.0 Intelligent Display technology, giving the TCL 20 Pro 5G AI visual enhancements and color accuracy.

The newest flagship phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G with a 5G modem, 6GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a microSD slot that supports up to 1TB additional storage.

ZDNet reported 14 that the TCL 20 Pro 5G's quad-camera includes a 48MP main camera with OIS, 16MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera, and 2MP depth camera, as well as a 32MP front camera.

Additionally, the TCL 20 Pro 5G features "True Flesh Tone," which makes for more natural skin tones on the display.

Its 4,500mAh battery is the first TCL phone that supports wireless charging and can last a day of heavy use.

TCL 20 Pro 5G will come with Android 11 and CL UI version 3.x offering users with a fairly stock Android experience with most of the TCL customization.

Features TCL added on the 20 Pro 5G include an Edge Bar to give users quick access in launching apps and a fingerprint quick launch option.

The 20 Pro 5G may not be at par with the big players in the market as it declined to use the more expensive Snapdragon 888 processor, but it could still deliver the flagship feels it promises.

The newest addition TCL 20 series will be available in the U.K., Italy, and Portugal on Apr. 15, with the 20 Pro 5G starting at €549, while the TCL 20L and TCL 20L+ start at €229 and €269 respectively.

The launch event also teased TCL's plans to unveil a rollable phone, but the company has not given specific details about the product.
