Valhalla Gamers will have to wait a little longer than expected.

Ubisoft has announced that it will delay its "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Wrath of the Druids Ireland expansion. The game developer said this is necessary to further improve and "deliver a more refined experience."

This announcement was relayed on Ubisoft's official Twitter account.

When will the Update be Released?

The update was initially set to be released on Apr. 29, but is now said to be officially launching on May 13th instead. The tweet ended with a thanks and a directive to keep on the lookout in social media for more updates.

This is supposedly the game's major expansion that focuses on Ireland.

Why the Hold-up?

The game developer assured transparency and insights into its development process. However, it did not further explain the issues surrounding its decision to delay its release.

Valhalla Players reportedly have poor experiences of the game as they took to social media platforms to air their concerns. PC Gamer  said that last month, the developer resorted to remove parts of the Ostara Festival seasonal event so as to decrease the game's crashes.

So, what will be included in The Wrath of The Druids Ireland Expansion?

The "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" Wrath of the Druids expansion pack will grant Eivor an exploration of the forests of Ireland while hunting an ancient druidic cult called the Children of Danu. There will be haunted forests, landscapes, among other Gaelic myths and folklore, as it begins with the High King of Ireland giving the Vikings some mercenary work.

The Irish reception is said to be a bit warmer than its English counterpart.

The update is already included in the price of "AC Valhalla's" season pass, as it will also be available as a standalone purchase, for only $40.
