Every avid gamer is awaiting the arrival of E3 2021, and with the newly added exhibitors, there might be even more exciting game news and reveals to behold.

According to GameSpot, E3 2021 just added a few more studios to the exhibitor list: Sega, Bandai Namco, and Square Enix being the biggest among them. In addition, Xseed Games/Marvelous U.S. Devious Eye Entertainment, Gearbox, Turtle Beach, Binge.com, and Verizon round up the list of the new participants.

Aside from the new participants, this year's convention is also promising "major" reveals that will get a lot of fans excited. There might be official announcements of new console models, upcoming games, and even more industry news to usher in the next generation.

E3 2021 will be televised as a digital-only event (due to the pandemic, obviously) from June 12th to 15th.

E3 2021: The Most Anticipated

First off, let's see what some of the new participants may announce.

Square Enix just released NieR Replicant to great reviews, despite a few issues regarding some gameplay choices. But there might be an air of excitement from the publisher and developer due to the previous announcement of NieR creator Yoko Taro. Taro and his team are currently working on a new game that the eccentric Japanese game designer himself says he has "no idea how to sell." The game will be a digital-only release and is supposed to have an "indie" flair to it. Aside from that, there might also be more information about Final Fantasy XVI.

Now, onto the other exhibitors who have been announced earlier. Perhaps among the most anticipated E3 shows is that of Nintendo, which will dispel so many rumors once their presentation is finished. Fans are likely going to want more news about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, which until now still has no official release date. The game was first teased back in E3 2019, but since then has been notoriously mum about more details, writes GameRant.

There is also immense excitement at the potential reveal of the Nintendo Switch Pro, which rumors say will be a pretty powerful handheld. A lot of insiders say that it is going to feature a much more powerful GPU, strong enough to make it the world's first 4K-capable handheld gaming system. An official reveal is certainly going to break the internet.

What About The Rest Of The Show?

A lot of big-name developers and publishers have backed out, such as PlayStation and Electronic Arts, according to GameSpot. But several still remain, and they have a lot more news to share. Ubisoft, for instance, is expected to reveal a lot at E3 2021. More news about Far Cry 6 and VR-supported Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell titles will likely be revealed.

On the other hand, Microsoft is likely looking to present Halo Infinite, with a slew of other unannounced projects stemming from its acquisition of Bethesda. Among these is a brand-new IP from the Skyrim maker titled Starfield, a space-based RPG and the studio's first new project.
