According to the recent tweet by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk (@elonmusk), the private space agency which he has started has received payment using the Dogecoin cryptocurrency for a mission. This is a satellite launch with the mission and spacecraft being named after the popular meme, Doge-1, and is historic for the company.

Musk did not provide any details regarding the company or beneficiaries behind the launch and mission, only that it would be done under the name of Dogecoin.
