Dogecoin is out of this world, and that will become more than a figure of speech and exaggeration for the fans and enthusiasts of one of the largest growing cryptocurrencies in the world. Moreover, the meme cryptocurrency's growth would be fulfilled by none other than Elon Musk and SpaceX, which is also referred to as a "meme lord."

The meme cryptocurrency's popularity has been surging for the past events, and it has caused Robinhood to crash once again, after a stream of people trades with Dogecoin on the platform. The popularity of Dogecoin started during the Reddit stock market frenzy last January, with people telling the Tesla and SpaceX CEO to tweet about it.

Elon Musk, SpaceX to Launch Doge-1 Satellite

According to the recent tweet by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk (@elonmusk), the private space agency which he has started has received payment using the Dogecoin cryptocurrency for a mission. This is a satellite launch with the mission and spacecraft being named after the popular meme, Doge-1, and is historic for the company.

The satellite mission from Musk and SpaceX is headed towards the Moon, which is also a euphemism that is directly related to Dogecoin's catchphrase that people say every time the meme cryptocurrency is mentioned. Musk did not provide any details regarding the company or beneficiaries behind the launch and mission, only that it would be done under the name of Dogecoin.

Doge-1 Mission: First Crypto, Meme in Space-'To the Moon!'

Why is this mission historic? Well, SpaceX's Doge-1 would be the first satellite and mission paid for with cryptocurrency. Moreover, it would also be the first cryptocurrency that is heading towards the cosmic skies, also being the first meme to reach outer space. The "to the Moon" phrase was intended to be a figurative one by its fans, hence the mission.

The mission would be carried out by SpaceX and Elon Musk, which is a massive one as well, especially as he is considered as the "Godfather," err, the "Dogefather" of Dogecoin. It is only fitting that the mission is towards the Moon, and it would fulfill the very essence and phrase that is always shouted by its fans via social media.
