Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference for 2021 will commence on Jun 7, and it can only mean that the tech giant will announce a new addition to its wide range of operating systems.

WWDC is an event that often gives Apple users everything that they could look forward to -- from macOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS; the company will provide hints on what they have been working on for the past year.

But, if there is one update that everyone is most excited about, it would have to be the newest iOS 15 for Apple's iPhone models.

Fans, including us, will have to patiently wait until WWDC officially starts to know more about the new iOS. But so far, there are already several things that we can expect.

Apple's iOS 15

This 2021, there have not been many rumors about the new iOS, which could only mean two things: either the new iOS 15 would not include notable features, or Apple is just really good at covering their tracks.

However, we all know that the current iOS 14 had an incredibly huge update. It should not be a surprise if Apple ever decides to keep this year's iOS more low-key.

But according to Mashable, here are some of the things that we can expect from the all-new Apple iOS 15.

iMessage Update

In 2020, iOS 14 included plenty of new iMessage features, such as pinning conversations, replying to specific messages, and customizing group chat notifications.

But according to Bloomberg, Apple will release more features in iOS 15.

The company is thinking of giving users the ability to set notification preferences. For example, they could set times for when their phones may make a sound or not, depending on the user's current status.

Bloomberg added that the new iOS would also give users the ability to set automatic replies. It would be similar to out-of-office responses that we are all familiar with, except this time, it is for your iPhone.

Food Tracking

iPhones currently have the Health app to help users track their daily nutritional intake. The current iOS 14 version of the app only takes data such as caffeine, water, carbohydrate, and vitamin intake.

However, iOS 15 version of the Health app would allegedly include all of the food users take to make their results as accurate as possible. It will be similar to MyFitnessPal, a well-known food diary application.

Nevertheless, there is still a lot to unravel about the app's revamp.

Privacy App Menu

Users have seen in iOS 14 that Apple is constantly trying to protect their users' privacy. During WWDC 2020, the Cupertino-based company introduced "Nutrition Labels," which lets users know how specific apps use their data.

The company also released ATT (App Tracking Transparency) with iOS 14.5. It requires app developers to ask their users' permission to track personal data using their apps and websites.

Now, Apple is said to be working on a brand new menu to provide a private iPhone experience, a feature that will give users the ability to know which apps are getting their data.

Other Features:

Background Sounds: iOS 15 will offer a built-in feature for the iPhones. It will allow users to play various songs and sounds that can soothe them. These sounds can be rain, thunder, and other noises that offer a sense of safety.

VoiceOver: This feature is geared for visually impaired users. By simply focusing the iPhone's camera on a subject or person, the VoiceOver will automatically describe them.

Customized Memoji: iOS 15 will give users the chance to customize their Memoji fully. They can add a soft helmet, oxygen tubes, and cochlear implants.

Audiogram Access: Users can now customize audio by basing it on their hearing test results from Audiogram. It is found within Headphone Accommodations inside Settings.

iOS 15-ready iPhones:

The new iOS means that there is a new list of iPhones that could only use it.

The iPhones that will likely support iOS 15 should include:

  • iPhone 7 Plus
