The gamification of fitness and health is reaching new heights via the recently unveiled partnership between Health Hero and Enjin. The project aims to introduce NFTs to the wellness industry by combining gaming mechanics with blockchain security.

Non-Fungible Tokens Intersect Health & Wellness

Health Hero and Enjin are joining forces to introduce a new health monitoring and

engagement app that will integrate the concept of Well-being Non-Fungible Tokens or W-NFTs. The partnership is geared towards creating an innovative digital community by enabling users to create tokens unique to their health and activity characteristics.

The app is designed to gather information regarding user activity and integrates with devices and apps like Fitbit, Google Fit, and Apple Health. Once user data is entered, the Go! app creates unique W-NFTs.

As users gradually add more personal information based on their health habits, the corresponding W-NFT will gain new traits and features, making it more unique. From there, the NFTs can be traded and exchanged for Enjin Coin via the Enjin Marketplace.

Gamification of Fitness and Health

The partnership will build on an existing pilot of W-NFTs spearheaded by Health Hero for its Global Challenges app. The partnership will build on a current pilot of W-NFTs led by Health Hero's Global Challenges app.

Anthony Diaz, CEO and Founder of Health Hero, notes, "with well-being and activity data, we are creating a new blockchain layer where we are driving health engagement and placing that on the blockchain, allowing us to have more secure and personal activity data for our users."

Scalability Via An Environmentally-Friendly Blockchain

An added benefit to the venture is that the Go! App will use Enjin's gas-free JumpNet blockchain, which consumes 99.99% less electricity than Ethereum and other competing networks.

Health Hero's existing products are currently employed worldwide through integrations with leading global companies, including Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and Slack, making scalability a vital aspect of the partnership.
