Microsoft has announced that it would soon end support for Windows 10 in 2025, which would follow the modern "life cycle" policy of software in these ages. This was announced one week before the supposed "unveil event" for Windows, suspected and dubbed as "Windows 11" from Microsoft. The event would introduce the next-generation operating system for the company.
Microsoft Windows is officially moving on, and it is for the better, and without a doubt something that would elevate more of what the 10th generation of the computer OS is currently offering. It is known that Windows 10 has been released last 2015, replacing the Windows 8 OS, and skipped the number 9, immediately going to 10, kind of like the iPhone X.
Windows is unlike Apple's macOS in terms of updating its software, especially as the company sticks with the namesake (Windows 10) for a long time, unlike that of the Mac which changes yearly like a smartphone. Nonetheless, it is still packed with features and a regular update scheme from Microsoft, but this next one is a much-needed change.

Microsoft Windows 10 Support Is Ending on 2025
Windows upgrade
According to the recent announcement by Microsoft, the support for Windows 10 is ending in 2025, and sad as it may seem, it is only following the company's modern life cycle policy for the computer OS. Nonetheless, it would soon have its replacement next week, Thursday, June 24, also known as Microsoft's Windows event.
The Windows event was announced last Microsoft Build 2021, which is the developer's conference of the software company. It seems that this was Microsoft's plan all along, and has only announced the news deliberately to people, instead of a one-time revelation that would happen on the event itself.
It is known that Windows 10 was released last July 2015, and it has replaced the Windows 8 operating system that was released in 2012. Moreover, the 8th generation of Windows has had a shorter lifespan of only four years, support ended for it last 2016, a year after Windows 10's arrival. The current OS of Microsoft would continue to live out its 10-year life cycle, fortunate than that of previous versions.
Windows 11: What to Expect?
A lot is brewing up in terms of the new face and interface of the new Windows OS that is set to unveil next Thursday.
Not much is known as of the moment, regarding the new operating system from Microsoft, and even its name was not yet unveiled. People now call this new software "Windows 11" but that is subject to change, depending on Microsoft.
Currently, there are a lot of expectations that are riding on Windows 11's release, especially its set of features that would need to be a more elaborate one compared to the current Windows.
This is because software upgrades need to be better than its previous version, and the jump from Windows 10 to 11 is not just an upgrade, rather a change to the next generation from Microsoft.
