Razer N95 Mask "Project Hazel" drop date is expected to come soon as the company gives fans more insight into its anti-COVID mask. At the E3 2021, Razer gave an official update on its much awaited Project Hazel N95 mask.

Razer Project Hazel N95 Mask

The Razer Project Hazel N95 mask is a concept design that had debuted much enthusiasm previously during the CES 2021, according to CNet. It has a few new features which buyers might get pretty excited for including an antifog coating on the mask's transparent section.

The Razer Project Hazel N95 also looks like it has been redesigned just a little bit in order to look more streamlined. The upcoming Razer Project Hazel N95 release date is expected to come in October 2021 and should be selling in limited quantities and only sold in drops making it a bit hard for buyers to purchase if ever scalpers were to get involved.

Is an N95 Mask too Late?

Interested buyers can try out the mask using AR on Instagram using the Project Hazel filter. The Razer Project Hazel N95 can be purchased through Razer's online site which users can register for now.

Some people, however, think that the mask might actually be launching a bit late due to the continued rollout of more and more coronavirus vaccines. Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO, explains the reason behind its launch in March. According to him, they realized that despite the vaccinations, the word around says that people have to be masked up since there still exists a risk factor.

Vaccines Rolling Out

It was also noted that despite being fully vaccinated, Tan states that people still need to be extremely careful. He also noted that a lot of countries might still be a full year or two off from finally becoming fully vaccinated. Aside from the mask's aesthetics, it is also very cleverly conceived.

For instance, it actually has active autosterilization and ventilation. It also comes with a separate case that users can use to charge the device wirelessly. The device also comes with a UV sterilizer. The Razer N95 mask uses replaceable filters as well as rechargeable ventilation pods which make the device sustainable. It is also a transparent device so people will still be able to see the users' mouth move.

LED lights also signify the pod charge status and other LED lights help make the mouth visible. Since CES, the company changed the light design to help sync with its Chrome RGB illumination. The pods have audio processing algorithms readily built in to help make the users' voice sound much clearer and even more natural.

The mask uses silicon edges with an airtight seal as well as adjustable ear loops. Users can easily adjust the amount of airflow in order to get maximum comfort and protection. The Razer N95 Project Hazel also comes in a number of different sizes. The price, however, has not yet been revealed.
