'Pokémon GO' to Launch Bidoof Breakout Event on June 25, Here's What We Know So Far

Pokémon GO announced that it will give Bidoof, a normal type Pokemon introduced in Generation 4, his own event, and fans are excited.

Aside from using the event as a chance to capture a shiny Bidoof, players can also take this as an opportunity to get as many XPs as they can to help them level up.

The event will feature numerous bonuses and mini-challenges that players can partake in, some of which are time-limited, according to Screent Rant.

The full Bidoof Breakout event will begin on June 25 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time to July 1 at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.

The event is separated by day and time, and players will be able to encounter Bidoofs that have learned these moves:

From June 25 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time until June 26 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, the Bidoof that is caught already knows about the Shadow Ball move.

From June 27 at 12:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time until June 28 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, the Bidoff that is caught already knows about the Thunderbolt move.

From June 29 at 12:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time until June 30 at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, the Bidoff that is caught already knows about the Ice Beam move.

Throughout June 25 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time until July 1 at 8:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, the Shiny Bidoof is introduced, the Team Go Rocket Grunts will use Shadow Bidoof, an increased Bidoof will spawn in the wild, and a Bidoof that evolved into Bibarel that knows about Hyper Beam is introduced.

Also, there will be an event exclusive Field Research tasks that will give rewards for every Bidoof encounter. Pokemon Go players can also receive Bidoof stickers from PokeStops and gifts.

There are a lot of rewards, gifts, and tokens, but the main thing that players should focus on is the extra Catch XP.

By using a Lucky Egg on top, you can get a lot of XPs. Also, if you get Excellent Curveball throws on all of the Bidoofs, you will earn more XPs, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

How to Prepare for the Bidoof Breakout Event

Players can prepare for the Bidoof Breakout Event by using Lure Modules and Incenses and participating in raid battles to increase their chances of finding a Shiny Bidoof.

This is the perfect time to collect a Shiny Pokemon. It will be much more difficult to encounter when the event is over. Players can also take advantage of the x4 Catch XP that will be active on June 29, according to SportsKeeda.

By using a Lucky Egg, players can bring this up to x8 Catch XP. This is a great way for lower-level players to level up.

Players can also get the exclusive moves that they want by capturing a Bidoof at a specific date and time, as mentioned above.

With so many activities, players can catch as many Bidoof as they want, and to do that, they will need to play as much as possible and use all of the items in their arsenal to increase the Bidoof spawn rate.
