Cryptocurrency Prices Over the Last 30 Days
It's been a bloody month for most cryptocurrencies as prices of $ETH fell to $1,600 from $4,000 and Bitcoin in the news. There has definitely been a lot of cryptocurrency movement this 2021, and one of the most notable highlights was how $DOGE, an unknown meme coin, was suddenly able to reach its all-time high at $0.7376 as per CoinMarketCap.
Although it's been tough for Bitcoin, data shown by WhaleBots Alert on Telegram shows that the coin is now just -1.5% in its past 30-day change. Going back to Dogecoin, the crypto whale tracker also shows that the coin has fallen -15.1% over the last 30 days. As for Bitcoin, over the past seven days, the coin achieved positive growth of +8.6%.
China's Crackdown on Bitcoin Mining
The massive growth of Bitcoin comes despite China's crackdown on the cryptocurrency banning mining. According to CNBC, this move is quite significant as China is home to 65% of Bitcoin miners. It has directly affected GPU prices, and according to TomsHardware, GPU prices in China dropped by 45%.
As of the moment, although the top 10 cryptocurrencies remain negative over the last 30 days, there are three exceptions. While $USDT and $USDC remain positive over the last 30 days, $HEX has shown remarkable growth. The cryptocurrency has grown by 52.2%, while other cryptocurrency coins were all dropping.
