It is time for another gadget battle, and this time, pitted against each other is the Razer Kishi and Backbone One which were recently featured due to the arrival of Xbox Cloud Gaming for the iOS. The service requires an Xbox Cloud subscription, and a Bluetooth controller to play the games via Safari or any other browser in iOS.
Users may use any Bluetooth controllers for their iPhones or iPad, especially if they own Xbox One's or Xbox Series X's console controller for the iOS, as it can be connected via the iOS 14.
Xbox Cloud Gaming iOS
The recent developments for Xbox's Cloud Gaming have the iOS platform included as part of those eligible to access the different titles on its library and having it played directly into the device. Yes, that is right, Microsoft and Xbox have announced that the iPhone and iPad running iOS 14.4 are eligible to play over 100 titles that are readily available in the cloud.
Most of the games found here are universal, but that does not mean that Microsoft is not treating its customers to the Xbox exclusive games under this venture. And with the deal and minimal requirements asked of the service, it is a win-win for those who want to experience portable gaming that is console exclusive, and does not need installation.

Razer Kishi
One of the most recognizable brands in gaming and e-sports, Razer has released a Bluetooth controller that is exclusive to a certain device (Android or iPhone specific), called the Kishi. This device is something that embodies Xbox gaming on a mobile device and focuses on bringing performance and control, all-in-one.
Razer promises the Kishi to be an "ultra-low" latency controller for the Xbox gameplay. It has a Lightning connector readily available, where one could hook it up when their device is running low, without needing to remove it from the controller. It features a Type-C connector for fast charging and all the buttons and needs for an Xbox game.

Backbone One
On the other hand, Backbone is another company that Xbox has featured for its iOS controller, and it would be focused more on the iPhones just like Razer's so it means that it would be limited for the iPad, especially the large ones.
It is almost identical to Razer, but it features a more flat design in the front, and the ergonomics focus lies more at the back of the device. Backbone One is compact with the controller itself, and can somehow be pocket-sized when not in use.
Additionally, it features a 3.5mm audio jack for its music or sound needs.

Razer Kishi vs. Backbone One: Which Controller to Buy?
Razer and Backbone's iPhone controller for the Xbox Cloud Gaming are two incredible devices, and both bring almost the same features for the devices. Both are also in the sub $100 price range, but Razer offers $10 off for new users, and Backbone offers free 3 months of Xbox Cloud Gaming for every device purchase (worth $45).
In terms of considering audio jack availability and Xbox Cloud Gaming subscription, Backbone One is the obvious winner here. But if Razer is the preferred brand, users may also opt for it, as it delivers almost the same functions and performance, for low latency gaming on iOS.
