Most of us have Amazon Prime for the free two-day shipping, but a few of us are also aware of Amazon's original streaming content. Now, though, after huge wins at this year's Golden Globes, you might want to know what else is available through Amazon's streaming service.

We've picked five of Amazon's best original series that you can watch online now.

Transparent

Yes, this is the Amazon series everyone is talking about because it's the one that made history by being the first Amazon series to win two Golden Globes: one for best comedy series (beating out traditional network television offerings) and best performance by an actor in a television comedy or musical series for star Jeffrey Tambor. Transparent is one of those shows no network would have touched, but Amazon turned it into something wonderful.

Transparent follows a transgender woman, currently a father who chooses to come out as a woman to his family. Critics and fans of the series hail it as groundbreaking, and obviously, Golden Globes voters agree.

You can watch all 10 episodes of Transparent here.

Mozart in the Jungle

Even if you're not a classical music fan, anyone can appreciate Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle. The series, based on the novel of the same name, takes us on a fictional adventure behind the scenes of the New York Symphony. The results are often dramatic, often hilarious and sometimes truly heartfelt. The series picks up after a wacky new conductor arrives on the scene and defies the symphony's traditions, shaking up the classical music scene.

Of course, if you appreciate classical music, you'll love this series just for its wonderful music, but it's the soap opera antics of the characters that make this music-based series sing.

Oh yeah, did we mention it also stars Malcolm McDowell and Bernadette Peters? You can stream all 10 episodes now.

Alpha House

Netflix has House of Cards and Amazon has Alpha House, a political satire comedy starring John Goodman. And, obviously, it's funny because its creator is none other than the man behind Doonesbury, Gary Trudeau. Inspired by several real Democratic congressmen, the series follows fictional congressmen as they face re-election battles, potential indictments and conflicts within their parties.

Even better, there are now two seasons of this hilarious series available online.

Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street

When Amazon decided it wasn't satisfied with just offering original series for adults, it chose to produce several shows targeted at children, including Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street. However, this isn't just for the kids, but the entire family. The series tells the story of three middle school friends who face the mysteries that occur on Normal Street, a place where nothing is actually normal. It has fantasy and adventure, a little something for everyone. Variety calls the series "a cut above," and it's easily one of the best kids' shows not on TV.

And you can watch the full first season online now.

Betas

Although Amazon turned down a second season of its series Betas, the comedy series is still worth a watch. Betas, which stars Joe Dinocol and Karan Soni, follows a start-up company as they develop a dating app and start looking for an investor to get it off the ground. Go ahead and stream all 11 episodes of Betas for a good laugh and maybe even a little insight into the world of start-ups.
