Samsung Galaxy S21 FE May Not Succeed This Year
Samsung Galaxy S21 "Fan Edition" might be available only in two markets due to the ongoing global chip shortage.
According to Slash Gear on Sunday, July 11, the fate of the Galaxy S21 FE has been spelled with a mishap brought by the looming semiconductor supply. From the beginning, the company has been struggling to pull off a successful launch for this product.
Specifically, those firms that rely on chips felt a significant amount of damage. For instance, Samsung will still have the difficulty in succeeding this year due to the ongoing issue.
Next month, the South Korean giant will be announcing the release of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3. These two products, however, will hinder the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE that will now be scheduled to be unveiled in the latter part of 2021.
The early rumors suggested that the Galaxy S21 FE would utilize two processors because of the global chip crisis. Now, the new reports point out that it would be relying on a specific chipset which could use either Exynos Snapdragon. It's also possible that the combination of the two chips would happen.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Availability
Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone will only be available in select regions particularly the two markets, Europe and the United States, The Korea Herald wrote in its report on Friday, July 9.
This means that even in the country of its origin, the Galaxy S21 FE will not come since the chip shortage persists. The worldwide issue has been limiting the company in terms of producing smart gadgets that depend on semiconductors.
What to Expect For Galaxy S21 FE
Earlier, a Chinese version of Galaxy S21 FE was spotted. The listing further said that the Samsung smartphone will have two options for storage: 128 GB and 256 GB.
It will also arrive with an 8MP telephoto which would allow the user to zoom for up to three times. In addition, it would sport two 12 MP sensors and a 32 MP camera for selfie shots.
For its chipset, we could possibly see a Snapdragon processor along with a fingerprint sensor, GPS, 5G, and WiFi 6E support. It is expected to feature support for USB Type-C as well.
