AMD Ryzen 9 5900X restock found selling for exactly its SRP! Could scalper prices finally be going down? With GPU prices still over the roof, it seems like CPU prices have finally started going back to their SRP.

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Sells at SRP

The AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is among one of AMD's latest Ryzen series CPUs, and as of the moment, the good news is that it is once again selling for its SRP. According to the official AMD website, the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X SRP is at $549, and lo and behold, another listing was found selling for exactly the same price.

According to a certain restock tracker online, a new AMD Ryzen 9 5900X popped on Amazon and is selling for $549. For PC builders waiting for the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, now is finally the time to buy the CPU at SRP on Amazon.

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Scalper Prices Still Jacked Up

With the CPU problem looking like it has finally been solved, the problem right now is the GPU supply. As of the moment, GPUs like the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT are selling for as high as over $1,900 and although this is still almost twice it's SRP at $999, according to the official AMD website, it is still an improvement from its previous pricing.

For a price comparison, the previous AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT sold at just a little over $2,000, while a newer AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT was just found selling at a more tolerable price point of just around $1,900. As of the moment, this is an improvement in GPU prices but still not quite as good as prices for CPUs.

CPUs Sold at SRP

Aside from the global chip shortage, which is currently expected to last until 2023, another reason why GPU prices have been skyrocketing is increasing demand outside of just gamers. Aside from just gamers, cryptocurrency miners have also been purchasing larger quantities of GPUs.

With gamers and PC builders already competing with each other, the added competition from crypto mining has also caused the prices of GPUs to go up even more. However, CPUs being sold at SRP could still cater to a growing market of people working at home needing more powerful hardware. For those that don't necessarily need high-powered GPUs for work, a good CPU along with high RAM and sufficient SSD memory might be enough.

As of the moment, not only PC gamers are struggling. The PS5 restock and Xbox Series X restock are two consoles that are currently extremely hard to purchase. One way for buyers to stand a chance to purchase the PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles are through following certain restock trackers online.
