"Star Wars" will not be making an appearance at the EA Play Live next week, it has been confirmed.

The video game franchise is joining other Electronic Arts (EA) titles that will be a no-show at the event. The list includes "Dragon Age 4" and "Mass Effect."

Despite not appearing at EA Play Live, it does not mean that "Star Wars" fans have nothing new to look forward to. According to a tweet posted by the EA Star Wars Twitter account, it looks forward to "celebrating with you next year when we share our vision for the Galaxy far, far away!"

According to PC Gamer, EA no longer holds the exclusive right to develop "Star Wars" games. This is due to the fact that Lucasfilm Games has been revived.

Next year still seems like it's far, far away, so in the meantime, here are some of the "Star Wars" video game titles EA has previously released that fans can play while waiting!
