"Star Wars" Galactic Starcruiser is not a ride-rather, it is a fully immersive experience for one's stay in Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida. The experience promises to take people right into the world of "Star Wars" and space, or as people refer to as the "galaxy far, far away." Not only would they get to sleep here, but visitors can also go on missions, and interact with alien life forms all around.

Disneyland has dropped its face mask requirements earlier this June, but it would soon bring it back due to the looming threats of the Delta variant among the public.

However, theme parks would not be closed down like last year and would continue to accommodate guests, especially in the newly opened Avengers Campus in California.

Disney Park's blog has released another venture for its theme park and hotel, and now, it would center on Orlando, Florida's Disney World Resort. This venture is the "Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser" and as much as it sounds like a new ride, it is not. What it is, is a theme hotel and resort, where people are transported right at the heart of "Star Wars" lore.

Disney planned this immersive experience to be out and available by Spring 2022, which would be open in six to eight months.

The Galactic Starcruiser's theme is a haven, where species and creatures from different parts of the galaxy come together in a single place known as the "Galaxy's Edge." In "Star Wars" lore, it is located in a place called "Batuu."

Star Wars' Fully Immersive and Interactive Experience

What makes this experience a fully immersive and interactive one is that it would not only be a hotel and resort to sleep or relax on. The Galactic Starcruiser is more of an extension of the "Star Wars" land itself, right on Disney World.

Guests would be able to partake in missions for the First Order or the Resistance, where they get a chance to be the baddies or heroes in the galaxy.

The visitors would be treated in a "Passenger Cabin" where they could sleep, and resemble that of sleeping pods in the "Star Wars" universe. What is more interesting here is that guests joining the Resistance would have the chance to wield a real-life retractable lightsaber, made by Disney.

Price to Expect for Guests

For a two-person accommodation, the starting price would be $4,809, and it would come with two breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, and one quick meal, per person.

This rate is also for the Standard Passenger Cabin, but the resort is offering Class and Captain suites for four or more people, for an extra price. Adding a person would cost as much as $885 for an adult and $750 for a child. These prices would be inclusive of all activities, amenities, experience, food, and accommodation.
