Xbox Indie Games Showcase Part 2: Three Games To Watch Out For

There's a total of three totally refreshing indie games that you should look out for during the stream. Here they are:

  • "OlliOlli World": Developed by Roll78 as a sequel to the original game on the PS Vita, "OlliOlli World" is another brand-new take to the skateboarding game genre. With its unique approach to doing skateboard tricks, the game turns the skateboarding genre into a sort of "meditative" experience, according to Engadget.
  • "RPG TIME: The Legend of Wright": This is a game you should play if you just want something extremely different from what you're used to playing on a major console. Whether you own an Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or even a last-gen Xbox One, "RPG TIME" and its mix of handmade game art with a heartfelt story about a young person wanting to be a game developer, it's a breath of fresh air. The game has already won 13 awards, including four top prizes in multiple indie game showcases, according to its official website.
  • Library of Ruina": Ever feel like the librarian was way too hard on you making noise inside the library? Did it piss you off back then? Well, you can act on that now and teach that librarian a lesson in this game, which pits library guests against librarians in battles that play out on a theater stage. Any guest who loses gets turned into a book, which causes the library to grow. The game has earned an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on its Steam Page so far, which is already more than enough reason to check it out.

During the stream, fans will likely know which platforms these games will be releasing on. And because of Xbox Game Pass, you likely won't even need a console to play these gems on.

Since this is the second indie games showcase for the platform, it looks like Microsoft is leaning more than ever into letting indie games gain recognition on their platform. Not bad for a company that once killed off indie games on Xbox Live.
