A new MSI Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 restock was just spotted selling for just $155 over its SRP! Although this might not be as powerful as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, this is by far the least marked up GPU that gamers might have seen in a while.

EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

A recently spotted EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti was spotted selling for just $200 past its SRP and although this might not seem like much, this is still a huge improvement when it comes to other GPU markups as of the moment. With other GPUs being sold at more than twice or about $500 their original prices, looking for a GPU that is being sold at $200 and below is extremely rare.

The EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti wasn't just a lucky one-time listing but rather appeared twice online in a span of a few months despite the ongoing global chip shortage! This then confirmed that the EVGA version of the NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti was being sold for just $200 past its SRP.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

As of the moment, however, for those that want to get the best deal on their GPU, a recent restock tracker Twitter account found a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 selling for just $155 past its SRP! The NVIDIA RTX 3060 was spotted selling below $500 at $484.99 which was just exactly $155.99 above its SRP.

When the GPU first launched, the NVIDIA RTX 3060 SRP was being sold at $329 according to an article by TechRadar. For those sick of spending over thousands of dollars for a GPU and want to get by with good graphics but don't really need the extra kick, the NVIDIA RTX 3060 was designed to be a budget option for those buyers.

GPU Prices Amidst Global Chip Shortage

Despite the good intentions, the GPU was still marked up to peak scalper prices as no GPU was left safe. Due to the global chip shortage, purchasing any GPU at SRP proved to be extremely difficult. Although the same did go for CPUs, the prices of CPUs have dropped back to their original SRP and there are restocks online selling GPUs like the Ryzen 9 5900X at its original price without a giant markup.

When it comes to GPUs, however, gamers have been struggling to get their hands on fairly priced GPUs. Another factor that has proven to make things more difficult for gamers is the rise of cryptocurrency and the increase in crypto miners.

With more and more individuals and even massive companies mining cryptocurrency, the more GPUs have been used due to their massive hash rates. Another problem, of course, is that gamers have to compete with each other as there are still a lot of more powerful GPUs that are highly in demand in the market as of today.
