Elon Musk is flying to Tesla Gigafactory Berlin, Germany, and would have a dedicated factory tour for Brandenburg and Berlin residents to showcase what is inside its European plant. Here, the CEO said that the residents of the area would be the top priority.

However, he did not close the doors for other audiences as it is open to the public.

A year after his initial trip to the site of Tesla's first European plant, Musk was welcomed by both fans and protestors that were against the Giga Berlin. However, the CEO had been met with a delegation from the German Minister, along with other officials that were happy with his arrival.

FUERSTENWALDE, GERMANY - SEPTEMBER 03: Tesla head Elon Musk arrives to have a look at the construction site of the new Tesla Gigafactory near Berlin on September 03, 2020 near Gruenheide, Germany. Musk is currently in Germany where he met with vaccine maker CureVac on Tuesday, with which Tesla has a cooperation to build devices for producing RNA vaccines, as well as German Economy Minister Peter Altmaier yesterday.

The eccentric billionaire and multi-tech CEO has confirmed it via Twitter (@elonmusk), saying that he is making a return to Tesla Gigafactory Berlin, and that would be from October 9 onwards. Musk did not specify how long he would stay, but he would focus on the company's venture there, particularly the manufacturing plant.

Musk was in Germany less than a year ago, as his first site visit to the then foundations of the Giga Berlin has shown not any of what can be seen now.

The progress of the Giga Berlin is phenomenal, as it showed a fast process on its production, having it ready for less than a year to be the site of Europe's electric vehicle needs. Here, the Giga Berlin would be the site of Tesla Model Y's new structural architecture design, as well as the focus of the 4680 batteries.

Factory Tour Open for Brandenburg, Berlin Residents; Then Public

The Tesla CEO did not specify a lot about this upcoming trip, but his return here would be a year later than his previous trip in early September 2020, back when COVID-19 was still on its high.

Musk also ventured here to promote its partnership with CureVac, a pharmaceutical company that also aims to debut its vaccine against the virus.

According to a follow-up statement in his tweet, Tesla and its CEO would conduct a site or factory tour prioritizing Brandenburg and Berlin residents. The tour is also open for residents outside these areas, as well as non-German residents in the area.

It is still not recommended to fly to different countries just for this Giga Berlin tour.

Additionally, it was not specified if there would be an online registration process to be a part of this experience, or people would just go on-site and show their proof of identification.

Fans are getting excited about this and have tweeted to Musk, and here the CEO imparted a German poem for them.

Why is Musk Back at Giga Berlin?

The reason for the CEO is for the factory tour, and it would showcase what the Giga Berlin can bring for locals in the area, especially its job opportunities and economic benefits. However, apart from this, there are no explanations were mentioned by Tesla or Musk.
