A dog walker spotted an unidentified flying object (UFO) with pulsating lights in the skies of North Tyneside in England, and was able to capture the phenomenon on video.

Craig Lowther, a 43-year-old venture capitalist, was letting his dog out for a walk in their garden when he spotted a flashing light in the sky, outside his home in the town of Tynemouth.

Upon seeing the UFO in the distance, Lowther ran back inside his home to get his camera to be able to take a closer look at the object. In the process, Lowther was able to capture the UFO on video.

The object in the sky, which was made up of flashing lights in the colors purple and white, hovered in the England night sky for two minutes as Lowther recorded the UFO's movements.

Lowther said to Chronicle Live that he first thought the object was an airplane that was flying on an unusual path of flight. He soon realized that the color of the object was unusual to be an airplane, and that its movements were not the expected movements of an airplane.

Looking through the video camera, Lowther used the zoom feature to get a closer look at the object. He was surprised at what he saw, as the object looked like a dome that had a bulge in its middle, and that the object had pulsating lights.

"I am out at night a lot walking the dog, but this was like nothing I have ever seen before," Lowther said.

The video taken by Lowther first shows a dot of white light that is flying in the sky in the distance. The object then begins to grow and appears to be moving closer to the camera, before transforming into a purple, dome-shaped object.

The UFO looks to be glowing white and purple in the England night sky, with its lights looking like the static that can be seen on TV screens.

The video continues with the UFO disappearing, before again reappearing.

A similar UFO was caught on video over the skies of Tynemouth last month. While the UFO then has a white light that pulsated while hovering in the sky, similar to the UFO that Lowther captured in his video, the object did not appear to grow in size.
