"Call of Duty's" Twitter statement has brought bad news for gamers and fans of the franchise, saying that the "Warzone's" Pacific Update and "Call of Duty: Vanguard's" Season 1 release would be delayed. The game said that the release would come by Wednesday, December 8 which is less than two weeks from now.

Initially, the game's release would be next week, December 2 and 3, but has been delayed for still unknown reasons.

Nevertheless, the game brings a new special focus of the game for the "Warzone" and its battle royale as the Pacific update is coming, with new content like maps, guns, and themes. On the other hand, "Vanguard" brings its Season 1 for the game and battle pass, as well as 24-hour early access to the "Caldera" map, which would then be open to all by December 9.

Activision's delay on Warzone and Vanguard remains unknown, but speculations by Engadget said that the company's disputes regarding its workplace harassment and "frat boy" culture may be the reason behind this. The company remains silent on the issue and has only addressed the smaller elephant in the room which is the games.

Activision's Recent Issues

Activision Blizzard has recently been the center of issues and attention as the company faces a lot during the presentation. One of which was the said insensitive thing it did for the Muslim community, as in the newly released game of the company, "Call of Duty: Vanguard," a copy of the Islam holy book, the Quran, has been found by a player to be on the ground.

Another issue was the harassment disputes against higher management that has been a massive one that has rocked the company earlier this year, with personnel staging a strike against their deeds. There are many issues that Activision has faced during these times, and it may be the cause of the delay in the company's releases.

The supposed arrival of the game by next week has been ployed, but that does not mean that it would fail to release to the public once it arrives. The delay only sees a maximum of six days from Activision and the company has already set a release date of the significant updates for the game titles from the company, focusing on its popular franchise.
