Google launched a new "Dark Mode" for its browser, and it is a darker version of the previous launch by the company, giving users a different look when using it. The feature came in the last week of February after Google's teaser earlier this month, saying that the quality is coming to change its looks for those wanting a different experience.

The dark mode is not new on apps and browsers available to the public now, but Google is revamping its "dark mode" look into a unique experience for all. The new display gives users a different look for "Dark Mode," which Google launched now, bringing an improved version that is relatively new compared to what they got to the public before.

According to The Verge, Google teased this in early February, saying that it will bring a new dark mode for people to use, and it pertains to a darker version of what it initially had for the public. It is available on the different platforms to which Google's browser is accessible, including the mobile apps and the PC browsers.

Google: What's New With the Dark Mode?

Google said it is a pitch-black experience compared to the original one that it debuted years ago. That previous version is of a lighter shade, almost greyish and not a full black.

However, this new one is darker and sleeker, giving users a chance to experience the "black out" in their computer or mobile screens when accessing Google.

Dark Mode and its Relevance Now

The world was given the internet for a brighter experience of surfing the web and looking for information online, and for several decades, it remained a luminous one for all. However, it changed perspectives as users asked for a different one, especially when Apple initially brought it back with its macOSX Yosemite and iOS 10 that gave the world a different perspective.

Initial computers used a dark screen with the green font to display their devices before, and this was when scientists first released the computers in the early 1900s. And then colored display came to the public, bringing white and other bright colors to the mix.

The "Matrix" franchise brought back the old school computer look in the early 2000s with the green and black aesthetic that somehow influenced the modern dark look.

Dark Mode's concept is to put the entire screen to black and have its accents bring color and contrast for the screen, something which almost all smartphones, browsers, and apps get now. Google's "new" dark mode gives a more "pitch black" appearance that offers those who love sleek looks on their browser a darker experience than its previous releases.
