The blog post claims that the system will forego the need to let the CPU decompress files every time the massive process takes place. Instead, the feature will swoop in and focus on the loading times of Windows in its SSD, and with this, the process will alleviate the pressure from the CPU and focus on its drive to do the work for them.
DirectStorage and the Faster Feature it Promises
The DirectStorage feature is almost two years in the making, with Microsoft first announcing this venture last September 2020, and it gave an idea for users to the new process within Windows. It aims to bring a faster feature for the system, focusing on its run.
With this, gamers get to enjoy more detailed work as it will not need the CPU every time it loads the profiles or codes, and the same goes with the programs.

Microsoft focuses on its Windows 11 now, and the latest operating system from the software company brings a lot for the public to experience on many of its processes. Last February saw a massive switch to Windows 11, and it only means that the people are accepting the new OS and integrating with everything it brings for them for all their needs.
Back in 2021, Microsoft promised a lot for the public to experience and see with their use of the Windows 11 software coming this 2022, and one of its promises is the DirectStorage feature for everyone to use. The updates will come soon, and it is not released in a single release for this year.
Nevertheless, Microsoft's promises are slowly unfolding, starting with DirectStorage.
DirectStorage will help fast-track the computer processes as it will not rely on the CPU's performance as much as it did before. The feature would alleviate the need for higher processes for the CPU, mainly depending on the fast NVMe SSDs fitted inside its systems, giving it the power to carry the essentials of the computer for its games and programs.
