Crunchyroll announced that it is now moving away from its initial offers of a free subscription with ads to a more streamlined experience with its premium subscription. The company now requires everyone to watch via its premium subscription or have none, bringing its platform to a different light from its previous offers that feature freebies. Currently, there are no ways to watch the shows in the company with a free subscription apart from the 14-day trial that it offers for new accounts or users.
