Nothing is impossible, and that is what "Fortnite" demonstrated over the past week as it pledged its game to be a place for donating to charity, but also receiving something in return to gratify gamers' purchases. Epic Games announced that it successfully gathered $144 million over the past seven days and that it made the game a place for donations and charity work.

The support for Ukraine's Humanitarian Relief started last March 20, 2022, and ended last April 2, and it is something that the company pledged for all victims and less fortunate of the current crisis. The catch is that all the proceeds of "Fortnite" will come straight to the fundraising initiative of the company, and it managed to gather a massive sum for all that needs it.

Fortnite, Xbox, and Gamers to Thank for Fundraising Success

 
"Fortnite's" recent announcement thanked Xbox, the gamers that made it possible to get funds, and all of its partner organizations for their help in the fundraising activity. The successful event brings a massive light to Ukraine, particularly as these funds are meant for the citizens affected by this dispute, giving them an opportunity to live on and continue with their lives.

"Fornite" initially pledged to give their week's earnings to Ukraine's humanitarian aid, and it focuses on the in-game store and all purchases made at the platform by gamers. The main goal of this fundraising event is to give a hand to Ukraine, especially its citizens who are suffering and pit in the middle of the ongoing conflict it has with Russia.

Before this, the partnerships that "Fortnite" has, was with famous pop culture companies like Marvel with the crossover series that brought a new comic arc limited release for the print media. The partnerships it has with various companies ensure that the public may experience a lot with the game, focusing on its many features for everyone to enjoy.

The platform is massive and it features many gamers purchasing different items in the shop all day, making their venture a feasible place for donations. Epic Games did not shy away from using its platform to be an opportunity to gather funds and help the European country that experiences one of its worst times now.
