Target PS5 Restock Coming Soon?

A known restock insider says that Target could be the next retailer to drop PS5 stocks in the US.

Acquiring a PS5 gaming console is still difficult, given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the global chip shortage that affects several tech firms dependent on chip production.

For the past 18 months, finding the next-gen gaming machine has become a challenge, especially for those who have missed the previous restocks from other retailers.

According to the latest report by Gaming Intel, the PS5 stock levels at Target have been spotted to be skyrocketing for two succeeding weeks until now. It's a good indication that the retailer might release PlayStation 5 units soon.

Popular restock insider Jake Randall made a bold prediction about the potential PS5 restock last week. He assumed that at that time, most Target stores contained around 20 to 30 PS5 units, which were all set for selling.

However, it did not happen as Target did not release any stocks at the end of last week. The reason was still unknown why the retailer arrived at this decision.

As a matter of fact, Randall recently said that this prompted him to conclude that Target could unveil its surprise supplies on either Apr. 7 or 8. He initially guessed that the restock time at the said store would take place between 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. EST.

Did the Apr. 7 Target PS5 Restock Happen?

In a similar report by Gaming Intel, the PlayStation 5 restock, which was believed to be taking place on Apr. 7, did not occur. That's why we assume that the next rollout of the console units might arrive on Apr. 8.

If that time comes, we urge all the customers to pay attention to the effective ways to prevent scalpers from taking advantage of PS5 units. There's a possibility that your purchase won't be successful if the bots will ruin the PS5 restock event.

For those people who live in the United Kingdom, there is some good news that you need to hear regarding the PS5 restock.

For this week, expect that AO will be dropping a select number of consoles in your location, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. For now, there's no exact time and date yet for this potential restock, so stay tuned for more details about it.

In another report, The Independent wrote that PS Direct would host a PS5 restock on the morning of April. 7. If you want to snag one from Sony's official store, don't forget these reminders.
