Walmart will be the next retailer to hold a PS5 restock even this week. According to the latest report, the U.S. store will be dropping the batch of the next-gen consoles on Tuesday, Apr. 19.
While it's hard to snag Sony's gaming machine at the moment, Walmart proves that there's hope for others who have missed the previous drops.

Walmart will be holding a PS5 restock event on April 19. Here are the tips to follow so you can secure a console.
As CNET writes in its report, Walmart officially announced that users can now get PlayStation 5 units in the store soon. The console drop is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, Apr. 19 at around 12:00 PM ET or 9:00 AM PT.
Moreover, you can have the option to obtain either of the two: the digital and the disk PS5 editions. However, there's a catch for this event.
Again, Walmart will only be rolling out PS5 stocks for Walmart Plus subscribers. For those who are unsubscribed to this service, you may miss this event for another time.
For those unfamiliar with this subscription offer, it started in 2021, prior to the holiday rush. Once you pay for Walmart Plus, you can enjoy a nice set of perks that only exclusive members can get.
Apart from that, the US retail giant sees this as an effective mechanism to bar scalper bots from ruining the restock events. This is the reason why it's limited to just a few users. For its pricing, you need to pay a monthly charge of $13.
