Health and wellness are incredibly important topics in today's society, so it's only natural that they receive a lot of attention. In recent years, in particular, the whole women's health movement has been gaining momentum. According to the CDC, over 14 percent of U.S. women are in fair or poor health. Fortunately, organizations like the WHO are working to provide education and infrastructure to boost the health of women.

Additionally, many more products and services for women's health have been made available. Not only does knowledge continue to improve with time, but technology advances with it. Consequently, available technological solutions and information get better. One of the products contributing to both aspects is Ivy, a state-of-the-art wearable tracker developed by the women's wellness brand Bellabeat.

Since its release in 2021, the wellness brand and its flagship product Ivy have received endorsements by a myriad of opinion leaders and celebrities in the women's fitness space. This April, the latest supporter of Ivy turned out to be Olivia Culpo, who says she is obsessed with the smart jewelry device. Culpo was named Miss Universe in 2012 alongside receiving various other beauty awards, and has since built a massive social media following with over five million subscribers on Instagram alone.

Here's what's behind Olivia Culpo's comments on Ivy.

Obsessed with Ivy

Olivia Culpo is a known fashion and women's health influencer whose approval isn't easy to gain. But when it comes to Bellabeat's Ivy, she doesn't hesitate being direct. "I'm Obsessed with my Ivy tracker, and I know you guys will be too," she said in an Instagram story

"It tracks everything from my cycle which is amazing. My activity rate, respiratory rate, heart rate, stress levels, mindfulness, hydration - it really does it all. Plus, the fact that it tracks your cycle is something that I've really never seen before," Culpo went on.

Since its release, Ivy has received several positive reviews from numerous media outlets, such as Forbes and TechCrunch. Many experts cited its clever design and extensive features as key advantages compared to rivaling products.

"It's designed by women for women, and it's an amazing tool for people to have. It will give you a Wellness Score and a Readiness Score every day. It will give you a Readiness Score based on your body's bio-response, and it will give you a Wellness Score based on your efforts throughout the day," adds Culpo.

Improving women's lives since 2013

Bellabeat is a wellness brand for women that was founded in 2013 and has built an ecosystem of products and services focused on women's health. It develops and builds innovative tech-powered wellness products specifically for women, such as the Ivy.

Before bringing Ivy to the market, Bellabeat released the massively successful Leaf health tracking jewelry for women as well as the first smart, AI-powered water bottle. With Ivy, the company is now even taking natural cycles into account when creating its guided programs and products.

Ivy utilizes its technology and sensors to monitor various data points, such as respiratory rate, body temperature, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, light, deep, and REM sleep, sleep timing, and others, to provide an overview of mental and physical wellbeing and capacity.

Just like Bellabeat's first breakthrough product, Ivy is taking the market by storm, with women like Olivia Culpo attesting to its effects. "If my Readiness Score is really low, then I know I won't be able to take that really important meeting, maybe I need to take a break, and if it's really high, then I know that I can do everything and pretty much conquer the world! You can also gift it to your friends, and you can have a friendly little competition," Culpo said.
