The Chinese government issued COVID-19 restrictions and health mandates to observe in the country as high cases manifested throughout its region for new virus cases. However, it seems that several Shenzhen factories are unbothered by this restriction as they run at total capacity despite the many prohibitions by its national government.

China is looking at a zero-tolerance approach in its jurisdiction for COVID-19 and its country to avoid a new wave of infected individuals and another spread of the virus in the country. However, according to a South China Morning Post report, several factories in Shenzhen, China, are locking down their facilities but run at full capacity with their workers.

It works as a closed bubble or loop where workers stay at the facilities to avoid going to the city that has lockdown restrictions if one is imposed in the country. It would compel them to avoid seeing their families and returning home to rest, as it will put them at risk for COVID-19 transmission and bringing it to the factories for the thousands of workers present.

This approach worked for the Chinese government as it would avoid getting the virus from other places and would keep the workers in a closed environment in the meantime. It would also help the country maintain its economic climb as more of its production stay at a regular rate despite the restrictions.

Shanghai has already tightened its lockdown restrictions on the rest of the cities and massive regions in the country.

COVID-19 and its Health Restrictions

Every time there is a rise in cases of infected individuals in any country, their national health government push for lockdowns or restrictions to limit the spread of the virus. There were officials that imposed many lockdowns in China for the high cases of COVID-19 infections in the country, and it focused on the many infections in the past month.

China is one of the countries that got affected by the new wave of coronavirus infections in the world, and this is despite their efforts to stem its transmissions via their health directives. It is known that many factories take place in China for the numerous technology productions of the world, and these are indeed affected by it.

The Chinese government is imposing lockdowns for its citizens to avoid another overwhelming case of COVID-19 for the country, mainly as it can spread to many regions nearby. However, some go against their policies and restrictions for the sake of running their factories, with a chance to endanger their workers' health and well-being.
