NASA announced a new update regarding the Artemis I mission, and it will focus on the wet dress rehearsal of its space rockets that will soon propel the upcoming venture of the company. The new dates for its return to the LaunchPad 39B in Kennedy Space Center would take place in early June for its next wet dress rehearsal.

The national space agency is not taking some time to focus on its Artemis I mission. After its initial rocket tests, the company is back again to relaunching the rockets. There were fixes and tweaks to the SLS and Orion rockets after its initial tests, especially those that it found problems in the first rounds of testing that the company did.

NASA SLS, Orion to Return to Launch Pad 39B in Florida

NASA is returning to Launch Pad 39B over at Kennedy Space Center in Florida to test out its Space Launch System and Orion for its next wet dress rehearsal that will take place this June. The spacecraft previously stood at the launchpad for its initial tests, which brought different results to the space agency that used it to improve more for the SLS.

NASA Artemis' Wet Dress Rehearsal

NASA is preparing a lot for the Artemis I mission as it will be the return of the company after as much as three decades since its last mission to the natural satellite of the planet. One of its recent ventures regarding the Artemis is its preparation to build its Lunar orbiter and station, which it would deploy a smaller one called the CAPSTONE to test out.

The company also does not leave behind one of the critical spacecraft that will play a massive role in its future launches, the SLS rocket, and Orion module. NASA already went ahead to focus on its initial wet dress rehearsal that would determine the many needs and readiness of the Space Launch System for its future missions.

Now, the SLS and Orion are returning to the LaunchPad 39B, and it will yet again test out the rockets for their function and features. NASA is making sure that all systems are a go and nothing gets left out so that its mission will turn out to be a success. It is only necessary for the space agency to launch these again and again for their peace of mind and readiness for the Artemis.
