Nvidia and Asus have presented the first 500 Hz G-sync gaming monitor in the world at the recent Computex 2022 keynote.

Following the latest announcement on the Computex 2022, Nvidia has presented a powerful gaming monitor that PC enthusiasts and gamers will surely appreciate.

According to a report by The Verge, before Asus and Nvidia came up with this 500Hz gaming display, they previously brought 360 Hz gaming monitors to the spotlight two years ago.

Per Jeff Fisher, the SVP of Nvidia's PC Business, the Asus ROG Swift 500 Hz gaming display boasts its highest refresh rate. On top of that, the official also says that you can achieve the lowest latency suited for the esports community.

Right from the start, Nvidia aims to create a powerful display that will break barriers across the gaming industry. The company says that the newest Asus ROG Swift 500 HZ G-Sync monitor is perfectly suited for esports use.

Notably, there's also a technology that complements it for gaming -- the E-TN (eSports Twisted Nematic) display panel. Although some people are doubtful about its very high refresh rates, it's interesting to know that the gaming display fully takes advantage of the 500 Hz E-TN.

Asus ROG 500 Hz Gaming Monitor a Game-Changer?

In an article written by Tom's Hardware on Tuesday, May 24, the 500 Hz gaming display has a lot of benefits to offer for esports enthusiasts.

The tech publication notes that you can take advantage of easy target tracking because of its smoother animation. Additionally, you can achieve a sharper animation because "ghosting" is reduced on this gaming monitor.

That's the only thing that you can achieve using it. There's also a noticeable improvement in the system latency, so you immediately see the actions done on screen.

The Asus ROG 500 Hz gaming display features Nvidia Reflex Analyzer support, the esports vibrance, and even the G-Sync appeal for refresh rate support with your slotted GPU in your computer.

When you combine everything you put into the paper, Nvidia says that this monitor excels in giving the "most fluid, fast-paced motion" that you can only see in today's esports competitions.

To go along with this powerful 500 Hz monitor, Nvidia is also rumored to be releasing an upcoming high-end RTX 4090 graphics card in the next two months.

Having these peripherals can contribute to a huge improvement in your gaming experience. It's important to have a quality set of equipment that will help you gain a competitive edge when it comes to e-sports.
