Apple is looking at new chips for the upcoming release of its famous devices, including the iPhone 14 and a new MacBook Air this 2022. Still, speculations are already reporting on its changes. More importantly, it would not have any significant upgrades on the new hardware for the A16 and M2 silicon chips.

Apple Analyst Speculates on A16, M2 Chips to Have No Changes

Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is looking at a new development for the iPhone 14's internals, and it is not something that will change a lot for the latest devices coming from the company. According to his tweet, Apple will use the same 5-nanometer fabrication process used for the A15 Bionic, which is what the company will focus on. 

The same goes for the news regarding the M2, as speculations also looked into the device and figured it would not change much from the M1's many releases in the past. However, Apple is still bringing different features, but these speculations fear that it would not be as significant as those that the company brought before.

A16 Bionic and M2: No Significant Changes on Release?

According to Mac Rumors, the release by Kuo said a lot about the development from Apple regarding its chips and features that will come for the soon iPhone 14, which would be a key player in the future. There are worries about the upcoming chips, including that of the MacBook Air's new M2, that people also speculate for this year. 

It may be the same fabrication process and materials but would focus on notable critical features for all, giving users a sense of "new" for the latest releases.

There are many talks about the new iPhone 14 already, so is with the redesigned MacBook Air will get the M2 chip in the coming months when it releases. However, there are concerns from famous speculators and analysts regarding its new releases, especially as it would use the same 5-nanometer fabrication process for the A16. 

Apple already has a lot riding on the new devices it will soon release, and the public cannot wait for its supposed launch in the Fall season when it usually reveals the new device. One of the upcoming features of the iPhone 14 Pro models is its refresh rate variability, which will help the device load on its apps and process. 

The new MacBook is also facing this dilemma as the new M2 is reportedly not having any significant changes, despite it being the next generation of the M-series chip. 

Apple is preparing a lot for the release of its new devices, but speculations think that it is not changing many things for the upcoming tech it will bring to the market. People would have to wait and see when Apple unveils it for everyone.
