Google Pixel 7: Prototype Already Available in eBay? Phone is Releasing This Year

Google Pixel 7 is unknown to many, but there are many speculations regarding the new device from the massive tech company to release this year. Until a prototype leak showed up on eBay right at the start of the week, it reportedly will have a new design for the smartphone to come by later this year, during Pixel's showcase sometime around Fall.

A Pixel 7 prototype listing appeared on eBay, and it created waves in the online world regarding the new device that did not yet release or has any announcements from Google. The listing is now deleted by the one that posted it, but it shows a black device that brings a new look to the Pixel smartphone, with minimal changes to its design.

There are no specifications that came with it, only the basic information available on its post. There are speculations that it will still come with Google's Tensor chip, the internal component that it released last year and came with Pixel 6 devices.

Google revealed the new smartphone last I/O 2022 showcase, and it showed the prototype for the public to see, saying that the device will release later this year.

Google released no other details about the new device.

According to The Verge, the new design based on Google's render in I/O 2022 for the Pixel 7 is almost the same thing as the prototype leak that appeared on eBay for the world to see. In 2021, the company already shipped out 1.2 million units of the Pixel 6, and it only took them less than three months to sell this volume of the smartphone.

It is a direct competitor of Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, and other manufacturers that also use the Android operating system, the most used OS globally. Now, a new Pixel 7 is coming to the world, but there are no announcements from Google about this smartphone yet. Leaks now highlight that the device will come in a new design, with the prototype appearing on eBay.
