Apple's WWDC 2022 has presented a lot of new features on its opening day on Monday, June 6.
One of the most notable changes that were recently announced during the event is the new sorting option for the Apple Music app brought by the arrival of iOS 16.

iOS Brings New Improvements For Apple Music

During the first day of WWDC 2022, Apple announced the new features that iOS 16 will bring to the Apple Music app.
According to 9to5Mac, there are many features that iOS 16 added to Apple Music. With the debut of the newest operating system, you can now take advantage of the new sorting options for the application.
Originally, you could only sort your favorite tracks on Music in order once you added them to your list. However, you can now mix it up with some elements for a change.
Usually, the top list consists of the first songs that you added. In the bottom part, you will see the most recently-added songs.
From your Apple Music, you can now sort the songs in the app in reverse playlist thanks to the fresh sorting feature. This can be done based on the album, the song's release date, artist, and more.
Upon going to a particular playlist in the music app, you can now search for this option. To do this, you need to click the three dots that you will see in the upper-right corner. From there, you can now select the sorting option that's in the menu.
Mark Your 'Favorite' Artist in Apple Music
That's the only thing you can test out on Apple Music with the iOS 16. Right now, you can also mark Taylor Swift or any other artists as your "favorite."
The Cupertino tech giant said that users can now keep track of their desired artists through the newly-improved recommendations and music notifications.
If you want to see this option, all you have to do is to head to the profile of a certain singer or performer on Apple Music.

Apple Pay Later
Aside from bringing more developments for the audio streaming app, the iPhone maker also revealed more privacy features for the Apple Wallet.
According to CNET's story, the iOS 16 can now allow the users to have revamped privacy and security protection for the Wallet App. Instead of showcasing your real birthdate, the application will only show your ID, and viewers will only see an unspecified age (over 20 or below 20, for example).
Other than that, the Silicon Valley firm is now working to create the shared keys for the said app. Apple said that it would soon be a standard for the industry. With that being said, it's expected to roll out with no additional charge to the users.
Paying with the Wallet app is now made easier, as well, thanks to Apple Pay Later. This new feature announced during the WWDC 2022 can let you split your current purchase into four equal payments.
What's more, is that it comes with no extra fees. There's no interest here as well, so tracking your payments will become much more convenient than before.
