Gatik is bringing its autonomous pods to deliver on its own in the many locations it will operate in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and it aims to deliver packages without any drivers present. The self-driving delivery systems are focusing on a test in the said area to expand more on its technology, previously available for closed environments only. 

Gatik: Autonomous EVs to Expand Delivery Service to Roads

Gatik is a software company that aims to bring its self-driving vehicles to deliver on public roads in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to TechXplore, focusing on the many features it has for the public. The company's software and electric autonomy focuses on bringing the area a chance to experience a driverless delivery system.

However, it is trying to bring its technology to public roads and deliver goods in more than 34 locations in the said area, focusing on expanding more of its technology for public use. The main purpose of the program is to allow many people to take advantage of its technology and use it for their everyday use, in partnership with different merchants.

Einride's Pods: Navigating Independently Through Fragile Vases

According to Reuters, Einride's pods can navigate on a course filled with delicate Chinese vases, and they did not bump into anything despite the obstacles being near each other. The company demonstrated its capabilities and technology here, giving the public a view of what its technology brings for everyone, and showing that it will stop at any obstacles it encounters.

Self-Driving Delivery Systems in the Country

Self-driving cars are coming as fast as they can, and soon, the world will be run by automated delivery systems that would no longer require drivers and personnel to bring packages to homes. It would help in focusing on a more streamlined experience that would focus on on-time delivery, as stated in the schedule set by the company.

One of the largest ventures presents now is the UPS delivery trucks that got its autonomous features from Waymo, bringing Class 8 trucks to move on their own without any human supervision.

Another self-driving delivery service comes from Cruise and Walmart, focusing on grocery goods that users may order online, and available in Scottsdale, Arizona area. 

Deliveries in the autonomous driving sector are growing by the numbers and they are set to replace the many drivers and employees that usually do these rounds for their work. Now, a new company is aiming to break ground and reach a new market with its autonomous driving service, focusing on its delivery in a single state for now.
