Original "Pokemon Snap," originally on Nintendo 64, is coming to players of Nintendo Switch, thanks to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

While the new "Pokemon Snap" was released on Switch last year, its classical N64 counterpart is also coming to the next-generation hybrid gaming console this month.

Original 'Pokemon Snap' on Nintendo Switch

As per a news story by CNET, the original version of "Pokemon Snap" is heading its way to the Switch, joining other Nintendo 64 gaming titles.

The news outlet notes that the original "Pokemon Snap" first saw the light of day long ago in 1999.

Its release was somewhat astonishing for the fans of the massive franchise during the 90s. It is worth noting that it was one of the earliest spin-offs of "Pokemon" games.

And now, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service is making the Pokemon spin-off game available to Switch players, bringing the nostalgic title to a modern gaming console.

That said if gamers of the hybrid console want to experience the nostalgic "Pokemon Snap," they need to get a membership of Nintendo Switch Online.

The + Expansion Pack option retails for $50 a year for an individual membership.

It is technically cheaper to get the service via the family subscription route, which only sells for $80 annually. It remarkably allows up to eight persons to enjoy the Nintendo Switch Online perks.

The service is also home to other iconic N64 games, allowing Switch to experience these decades-old titles.

And on June 24, the N64 version of "Pokemon Snap," is making its much-awaited arrival on Switch. On top of that, Nintendo is also giving away a free demo of "Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes" on the very same day.
