Wix has partnered with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform, Goodcall to assist them with their 24/7 phone assistant tool. The cloud-based conversational AI platform will assist in call recording, spam blocking, and analytics. As a result, Wix will further improve their 24/7 phone assistance to their clients.

For small businesses that get less than 60 calls a month, they will have access to the phone assistant tool for free. On the other hand, companies that get up to 600 calls a month will have to pay $19/month. They also have the option to go unlimited for $49/month. 

The phone assistant tool is available for US-based customers. Goodcall's call management software is designed to capture lost revenue opportunities that are caused by missed customer calls. 

As reported by Techradar, Ronny Elkayam, SVP Mobile, App Market and Strategic Products at Wix said, "Partnering with Goodcall provides business owners with a unique tool that strengthens customer relations and maximizes productivity which can ultimately boost revenue. 

Elkayam also said that their company is always on the lookout for partners who have the same vision as them. Through these strategic partnerships, Wix can deliver tools to businesses that can change the game for companies that struggle with high volumes of calls.

Other Features

Aside from the call management feature of the new tool, it also offers recording and playback, spam bot stoppers, and it will allow the addition of caller-specific requests and update store hours across business listings like Facebook, Wix or Google. 

Users can access the tool on the Wix dashboard. All they need to do is click on the Goodcall logo. Users will also be given the opportunity to teach the tool something new and access their call list data.

There are companies that are now capitalizing on the current demand for 24/7 phone assistance for small companies. This move is not surprising since the companies that provide these solutions have been growing.

There is an increasing need for automation, something that AI has been providing for years. It does not come as a surprise that Wix partnered with an AI. With the help of this tool, Wix will be able to accurately serve its customers. 

On top of that, the AI isn't limited to call management. It can also handle FAQ, automatic service scheduling, and online chat.
