EA's Skate 4 finally gets its new trailer, detailing the gameplay and showing some of the prototypes from its "pre-pre-pre-alpha" stage.
On top of that, its publisher Electronic Arts (EA) is also looking for folks who would want to playtest the game early on, as it opens it up for sign-ups.

It has been quite a while since the devs of Skate 4, also simply known as "skate," released any updates about the much-anticipated comeback of the gaming title.
In fact, the last time that its fans got their hands on a new Skate game was roughly more than a decade.
As per a news story by IGN, the predecessor of Skate 3 first saw the light of day about 12 years ago or last May 2010. It even debuted on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was a time when the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S were not yet even a thing.

But this time, the devs of the Skate 3 successor appear to be telling its fans to calm their horses, as they are working on the upcoming release of Skate 4.

The latest trailer of the fourth installment in the Skate gaming franchise gives its fans and other bystanders a glimpse of what to precisely expect from the upcoming EA title.
The title of the new trailer on YouTube, "Still Working On It" sends a message to excited fans of the EA game that the devs are busy with its upcoming release.
Skate 4: Here's What to Expect
The new Skate 4 trailer notably includes tons of prototype clips of the upcoming game.
Apart from that, the devs of the game even shared on the trailer how to make the characters seamlessly showcase their skating moves.
Not to mention they also showed how they deal with several bugs that they encountered while developing the upcoming Skate 4.
The trailer includes a couple of raw parts of the game, some with wonky animation or uncolored prototypes. But the video also comes with a polished look at the future EA game.
According to a recent report by Kotaku, the trailer also showcased how realistic the audio of the game is. It mimics how a skateboard sounds when it rolls on roads or metal railings in real life.

Skate 4 Playtest: How to Sign Up
Kotaku further notes that EA is already looking for playtesters for Skate 4, through its Skate Insider program.
