A person walks by an Apple Store on April 23, 2013 in San Francisco, California. Analysts believe that Apple Inc. will report their first quarterly loss in nearly a decade as the company prepares to report first quarter earnings today after the closing bell.

In 2021, Chinese tech manufacturers assembled hundreds of thousands of Apple devices, including iOS smartphones, Apple tablets, and other popular gadgets.

However, it seems like Luxshare's success will be affected by the latest issue, it faces in Taiwan. Here's what the country's prosecutors claim.

Taiwan's officials added that Luxshare is doing this to acquire Apple orders.

They further explained that the accused Apple supplier is targeting Catcher so that it can quickly enter Apple's production chain.

Aside from this, the iPhone assembler is also believed to be luring the tech experts of Catcher using high salary offers.

Since some employees grabbed the opportunity, Luxshare acquired essential business documents containing Catcher's manufacturing secrets, as claimed by Taiwan.

As of writing, Luxshare Precision Industry hasn't released any statement regarding the allegations. Apple also prefers to remain silent as Taiwan's prosecutors continue their investigations.

Taiwan's Effort Against Chinese Firm Underhanded Activities

Reuters reported that the latest case against Luxshare is a part of the Asian country's efforts to end the underhanded and illegal activities of Chinese tech firms.

For the past few years, Taiwan has been trying to prevent commercial secret thefts, as well as talent poaching (the action of luring employees from competitors).

"The department will do its best to investigate such cases to maintain the sound development of our country's enterprises and ensure the competitiveness of national industries," said Taiwanese prosecutors.

While Luxshare faces accusations, Apple remains busy with its product launches and gadget enhancements.

Previously, the iPhone maker launched its so-called Apple Lockdown Mode feature.
