After 100 million downloads, it's safe to say Trey Smith cracked the code on hyper-casual gaming and pioneered a revolution in video games.  Now he's bringing that expertise and experience to the blockchain with Mech.com.  After completing a $6 million seed raise with Jake Paul and Yida Gao and Shima Capital as major investors, you can be sure Mech is building something different.

In 2019 Trey Smith sold Buildbox, the largest no code gaming engine in the industry, and set his sights on the next market to dominate.  "After seeing all these crypto games being hyped that I knew would never make it to market, I had to do something about it."  Trey and his team have been part of several AAA games and knows exactly what it takes to produce and launch them.

What Trey and his team are doing instead is combining casual gaming with play to earn.  They've already sold thousands of Mech NFTs, the unique AI-generated characters that players will use in the game.  Players will be able to battle, mine for Ore (the in-game token), build shops or arenas, and continually upgrade their Mechs.  With each part of the game having its own function, players of all kinds will find something to love about Mech.

Because of their experience with hyper-casual games, Trey and Nik know how to release fully completed mini-games that build on each other, so players always have something new and fun to do in the game.  This keeps players coming back over and over, creating a sticky ecosystem that no one will want to leave.

Speaking of sticky, Mech.com has also brought on Justin Kan, the co-founder of Twitch, as an advisor in the project.  Twitch is one of the hottest streaming platforms for gamers and having Justin's knowledge of what keeps people playing and coming back, you can be sure Mech is setting the standard for crypto games.

If that wasn't enough, Mech will have its own no-code gaming engine that gives players the opportunity to be creators in an already popular game.  This brings a whole new spin to the play to earn games that we haven't seen anyone else being able to touch.

These creator tools will give the casual game an unprecedented opportunity to develop their own mini-games and earn money, without having to create an entirely new game.  While most play to earn games favor the game creator, Mech is giving the average player a chance to reap the same rewards.

It's incredible to see what a founder with real world experience can bring to the crypto space.  This is something completely different with all of the right pieces to be the game we've all been waiting for.  Rumor has it, they're planning a battle royal style tournament before the end of the year.  Make sure to get your Mech during their next drop so you can get in on the action.
