According to MacRumors, there is a significant feature that is coming back to the world, and it is the battery percentage for all iOS 16 devices displayed on the iPhone's status bar. It is a different setup now, as before, users need to swipe down from the Control Center to view their battery percentage, and closing it would lose the number.

Users in the iOS 16 beta are seeing and experiencing this now, and it is something they can get for the device when the public release is available for all.

For people still using the iPhone SE devices and iPhone 8 and below smartphones, this would not be much of an issue as it is still available in their status bar if turned on.

Battery Percentage is Visible with the Notch on iOS 16

The battery percentage is now visible via the iOS 16 and it would not matter for those with the notch on their devices, particularly with the iPhone X and later.

Apple brought this feature back after several years of hiding it in the Control Center, and it only means that it heeds the requests of the users who do not want to check it from time to time.

Apple's iOS 16 and its Features for All

The iOS 16 is the latest there is to Apple's operating system for the iPhone and despite the company saying that they are not changing its user interface for the public, there are numerous features available for all. One feature here is the Visual Lookup feature from iOS 15 that transcends to iOS 16 with better features available for all.

With this new feature, there is a new way to crop subjects to and from different apps or remove the photobombers that are seen in the background.

Another feature of the iOS 16 is to change the way people interact with their devices and it aims to make it more seamless, even without the touch. There are different gadgets and accessories that Apple and other manufacturers are giving the public to enjoy, and it would help in their use of their iPhones with the new OS version.

Now, an old feature is coming back for everyone as it was previously removed by Apple to make way for its redesign and notch that takes up significant space on the status bar. It is a courtesy for users to see their battery percentage to help them know their usage and how many hours are left for their gadgets to use.
