The demand for qualified software developers has been rising for a decade, and there's no sign of that demand dropping. In fact, jobs for software professionals are expected to grow by over 20% by 2028, which is faster than the expected growth rate for every other occupation. The only problem is that there is more demand for the services than there are developers to do the work.

Avantsoft founder Paulo Carvalho recently explained, "It has never been harder to get good developers on your team. Having the highest salary is no longer enough. It is important to offer growth opportunities (both professional and personal), impact in the company, and time-freedom."

Since the developer shortage isn't expected to disappear anytime soon, companies must pivot and find new solutions for their software needs. This is where Avantsoft comes into play.

What is Avantsoft?

Avantsoft is a premier software development house for companies looking to leverage technological integration to increase productivity, efficiency, and revenue. The company was founded in Brazil in 2016 as a software contractor, and it's their goal to make it easier for people to develop software.

Teaming with Avantsoft gives you access to a team of experts who each possess their own skills and areas of expertise. This allows them to combine their knowledge and resources to solve problems and produce quality results.

One of the most significant benefits of teaming with Avantsoft is that of their diverse, worldwide team. With their staff located in several different countries, each with different cultures, they are able to understand precisely what you want regardless of where you operate. Yet their expertise goes further than speaking another language; Avantsoft professionals know how to forge relationships between clients of different cultures and the applicable laws in these areas, which brings a great deal of value to the table.

Avantsoft is Doing Their Part to Combat the Developer Shortage

Avantsoft is located in Brazil, which has given them an opportunity to help underprivileged communities and see how software can transform the lives of the people who live in them.

This experience has allowed Avantsoft to set itself apart from the competition and possibly even find a solution to the world's developer shortage.

Unlike other big tech companies, they are located in the northeast of Brazil, a part of the country that is less socio-economically developed than the rest. Despite this, the team at Avantsoft have found and trained extremely talented individuals.

They began thinking outside of the box and ultimately began hiring those from at-risk populations. They often hire developers in their first year of college and start training them in real-world scenarios.

"Our trainees have been able to improve their lives through learning how to program professionally and I hope we will be able to create great tech leaders this way," said Carvalho proudly.

This is a massive step in the right direction to help possibly solve two real-world problems. Avantsoft is giving those most at-risk the opportunity to change their lives while also training developers. They currently have a few trainees, but as this program is still in its infancy, that number is rapidly expanding.

Because the Brazilian timezone is close to that of the USA, they feel confident that, with their help, companies can continue to grow without sacrificing their schedules to meet during unconventional times (as can be the case with outsourcing to other parts of the world). Being in the same time zone allows both groups to communicate with ease.

Traditionally, companies have outsourced their software development needs to eastern countries, but Latin America has a real opportunity to emerge as a strong candidate on the world stage.

For now, Avantsoft will remain focused on creating top-notch software, including web and mobile apps, and seeking out the world's best talent.
