Audi Released Its Fourth Concept Called the Activesphere for Its Sphere Series

According to the story by Inside EVs, the models aren't just designed to align with what the company is trying to do but are also designed to be autonomous vehicles. After its recent four-door coupe, the automaker is introducing its fourth concept called the Activesphere.

The article noted that they are not 100% sure, however, that the model will be a two-door vehicle. This is since Audi had "deliberately obscured that part of the study's body in the sole teaser shot."

Although Not Confirmed, a Lot of Talk Points Towards the Upcoming Model Being a Two-Door Vehicle

The greenhouse, however, does look really small for it to be an actual four-door vehicle. The design of the model will be similar to those of the previous sphere concepts. It was noted that what sets it apart is really just the tall coupe.

This is because while there are still other vehicles in the market that might have other similar body styles, it would still be hard for buyers to get their hands on a tall coupe just like those shown in the teaser.

The Upcoming Audi Concept is Said to be an Off-Road Vehicle Due to Its Illustration

The automaker did not really release many details regarding its production plans for the series of concepts. Even the latest addition to the series wasn't released with many details as Audi remained quite reserved on what details it shares with the public regarding the concepts.

An article by Car Magazine used the word "off-roader" to describe the concept which is scheduled to come out in 2023. The article decided to come to the conclusion by removing the shadows from the picture which resulted in a potentially "lifted two-door coupe" which appears to be following the safari trend.

Another Group Artificailly Brightened the Illustration to Reveal How It Actually Looks

Car Magazine notes that the safari trend is seeing a lot of buyers becoming excited about the off-road-optimized 911. It was also noted that Porsche looks like it is also building its own as of press time.

In another article by Jalopnik, they decided to artificially brighten the illustration from Audi. When the silhouette was whittled down, they saw a lot of cladding to protect the body which supports the hypothesis that it could be designed for off-road activity.

The New Audi Model Reportedly Appears to Respect the 'Joy of Traveling Off the Beaten Path'

The Activesphere reportedly appears to respect the "joy of traveling off the beaten path." This means that an autonomous mode might just seem unnecessary.

The Audi reportedly deals a lot in the theoretical with the help of different studies. The illustration of Audi's new concept was released on their official Twitter account.
