GoPro Hero11: Same Design as Hero 10 But Features a New Sensor—What Is It?

The world's famous action camera company, GoPro, is allegedly already working on the successor to its action camera, with the Hero11 Black coming soon to the world. However, the catch to the new device is that it brings the same design as the Hero10 Black, with rumors claiming it would have the same look but aims to feature new technology inside it.

WinFuture reported that there is a new GoPro device coming, under the name Hero11 Black, succeeding the current Hero10 Black device from the company. The report also claimed that it has the specs of the new action camera, claiming that it will feature the same design for its body, and will only change internal parts to add its new features.

The new addition to the action camera is a new sensor that will be slightly larger than its current release with the Hero10 Black, the upgrade's focus on the upcoming release.

According to The Verge, the new sensor may help in giving the world a chance to shoot better videos and photos in low-light settings, something that the new sensor will deliver upon release.

GoPro Hero11 Black: What to Expect?

The new GoPro Hero11 Black still sees limited information as of the present, and there are no suspected release dates for the device. However, if it follows the annual release of the action camera, one would be coming in 2022, right before the year ends.

Most of GoPro's launches come by October of the year, with speculation on October 2022 as the date for the new Hero11 Black's unveiling to the world.

GoPro and its Action Cameras

GoPro's focus is on action cameras and the California-based company centered on their development of the handheld device that captures 4K HD shots and helps capture a high frame rate for motion capture. For the longest time now, GoPro brought new models of its action camera for a yearly release, with new cameras arriving each year.

Since GoPro Hero7's release in 2018, the company had a consistent release of the action cameras, with the Hero8 arriving in 2019, the Hero9 releasing during the pandemic in 2020, and the latest from GoPro, the Hero10 Black in 2021.

Several design changes were seen in every iteration of GoPro cameras in each release, especially with its flagship, the Hero Black series from the company.

Following a yearly release, speculations on the GoPro Hero11 Black claims that there is an upcoming device from the company that would soon drop for the world. It is unknown when the device would unveil and released for all, as the only information regarding the new action camera is for its design coming soon to the world.
