Twitter is now rolling out Podcasts for the social media platform, and people may listen to audio episodes via their app or the web with this new feature from the company. However, it is only available via Twitter Blue, the subscription-based service which gets new and nifty features from social media, allowing its subscribers a chance to try the service.

Twitter's Podcasts are different from the known Twitter Spaces which also offer an audio experience via the app.

Twitter Blue posted an update available for all subscribers of the service, especially now that Twitter Podcasts is coming to the platform to add to its audio experience for all. The feature will bring additional audio-based experiences for all, one which would provide noteworthy talks from different creators aiming to publish it on social media.

It will be in the same button as the Spaces feature, and here, users may access the likes of the live audio rooms, Podcasts episodes from different creators, themed audio stations, and recorded Spaces content.

The feature is taking its early steps on the integration and will be available for iOS users only, alongside their Twitter Blue subscriptions. Android and web users will have to wait for its rollout in the future to get the Podcasts.

You Need a Subscription for Podcasts

Sadly, users without a Twitter Blue subscription will have no access to Podcasts, for now, as well as those with iOS devices only. Twitter said that it will also give others early access to new features from Twitter Labs via the Blue subscription service.

Users opting to use the new Podcasts service need to subscribe to the platform's Twitter Blue, or they would have to find another streaming platform for their audio listening needs.

Twitter's Audio Features

It all started with Clubhouse's offers during the early parts of the pandemic, and this new app revolutionized live audio experiences in apps, in a world immersed in multimedia and visuals. Applications like Facebook, Instagram, and other known platforms opted in to bring their take on an audio-only experience, now available via their platforms.

Twitter flourished with its audio-only feature in its platform, with Spaces bringing the experience for all, and with the many users of the platform, the feature brought the experience to them.

The evolution of this new feature for social media gives the world significant access to many experiences, providing platforms with new offers for all.

Twitter Podcasts is different from Spaces is a significant way, and the company is making sure that both are accessible for all.

The only catch now is that people wanting to access the Podcasts feature will need to have a Twitter Blue subscription on their accounts to experience this new audio service. It will make Twitter a one-stop-shop for all media needs, including videos posted online for updates on different topics, live audio rooms with Spaces, and episode-based talks with Podcasts.
