Rockstar Games' latest post on Twitter already uses the feature on social media where only people who get a mention or reply from the account could comment on the post. It is one of the many precautions which Rockstar is taking to avoid further leaks or rumors that will center on "GTA 6," the speculated next title of the franchise.

The company suffered from a recent hack that claimed to have accessed its networks and systems, allegedly getting information and proof of the next title coming soon.

Still, it means that Rockstar Games' social media platforms would have fewer engagements apart from likes, shares, retweets, and such due to this measure they are enforcing now.

'GTA 6' Leaks Did Not Affect Rockstar Games

Despite Rockstar's reaction to the latest leak, the information is not taking much effect against the company's development of the sequel game to the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise. Rockstar said that it is only a small factor from its development and creation of the new game that would soon be available to the public, one of the most anticipated now in the gaming industry,

'GTA 6' and its Development

The leak earlier this week is one of the most extensive handouts to the public regarding insider information on the upcoming title under development from Rockstar Games. Its recent information claims to be the two central figures on the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto 6" title, also revealing that it is indeed taking place in Vice City, or Rockstar's fictional Miami, Florida.

This information greatly claims the many new things coming to the next "Grand Theft Auto" game which Rockstar has not named or labeled yet with a number or subtitle.

Rockstar Games' effort to keep everything confidential is also felt among Twitch streams where it will ban anyone that would mention or talk about "GTA 6" on the platform. The company wants to keep everything under wraps, something which it aims to reveal itself in the future, breaking the news to all fans and gamers.

It is taking precautionary measures to avoid another leak incident in the comment section of its social media page, and it is quite a smart thing for Rockstar Games to prevent any information from spreading. However, it does not stop these anonymous leakers from posting online themselves, and it may soon be another problem for the developers to stop.
